The submissions for Fall 2026 have closed. LAMB will reissue its CfP in December for Spring 2027. For an example of our CfP, please see below.

Do you study the late ancient or medieval world? Are you interested in meeting other graduate students who study the same period and in hearing about their work? If so, the Late Antique, Medieval, and Byzantine (LAMB) workshop is the right place for you.

We invite graduate students to present their works in progress, including, but not limited to, research papers, articles, extracts from dissertations, or conference presentations. The LAMB workshop takes place twice a month, and a pre-circulated paper will be sent to the participants before each meeting.

If you would like to present a paper in the Spring semester of 2026, please send an email to amorandy@princeton.edu by January 10 with your (1) name, (2) department of affiliation and year of study, (3) title and short abstract, (4) request for discussant, and (5) preferred presentation dates.
